Although forced to wait out a rain delay of one hour, 24 minutes in the seventh inning, Gaylord Perry won his 15th straight game, pitching the Indians to a 4-2 victory over the Brewers. Perry owed thanks to John Lowenstein, who drove in all of the Indians' runs, three with a homer in the fifth and the last tally with a safe squeeze bunt in the seventh.
