A homer by Mike Jorgensen in the fifth inning provided the Expos' deciding run in a 5-4 victory over the Giants. The Expos benefited from the wildness of Tom Bradley when they scored their first four runs in the sixth. Dennis Blair led off with a single, Boots Day sacrificed and Larry Lintz walked. After the runners moved up on an infield out by Willie Davis, Ken Singleton drew an intentional pass to load the bases. Bradley then walked Bob Bailey and Jorgensen, forcing in two runs, and Tim Foli followed with a single to drive in another pair. Chris Arnold batted in three of the Giants' runs with a double and single.
