Dave Roberts conquered the Cardinals for the third straight time this year and sixth time in a row over two years and Lee May smashed two homers, driving in three runs, to lead the Astros to a 5-2 victory. The Cards took a 2-0 lead before May hit his first homer in the second inning. The Astros put together four singles for two runs in the fourth and capped their scoring when Bob Watson singled and May hit his second homer in the fifth. [The Sporting News]
