Ralph Garr, the N. L.'s leading batter, raised his average to .370 with a homer, double and two singles in five trips as the Braves defeated the Phillies, 11-4. Garr drove in three runs. So did Dusty Baker, who hit a single and homer. The Phillies led, 3-2, until run-scoring doubles by Vic Correll and Garr sent the Braves ahead in the seventh.
