Jeff Burroughs hit his 24th homer of the season in the first inning and that was only run Fergie Jenkins needed to pitch the Rangers to a 1-0 victory over the Indians. Burroughs' blow off Fritz Peterson made him the first major league batter with 100 RBIs this year. The shutout was the fourth of the season for Jenkins, who turned in his 22nd complete game.
