Mike Lum hit the first grand-slam homer of his major league career and drove in another run with a sacrifice fly to mark the Braves' 9-0 victory over the Padres. Buzz Capra pitched the shutout. Lum hit his grand slam off Randy Jones in the first inning when the Braves tallied five times. Dusty Baker batted in two runs with a double and Lum hit a sacrifice fly in the fourth.
