Don Kessinger batted in two runs and scored twice to figure in all of the Cubs' scoring in a 4-2 victory over the Phillies. Kessinger drew a pass in the first inning and crossed the plate on a double by Pete LaCock. Then in the fifth, after Tom Dettore and Rick Monday walked, Kessinger drove them home with a double before scoring himself on a single by Jose Cardenal. [The Sporting News]
