Homers by Don Baylor and Boog Powell carried the Orioles to a 2-1 victory over the Red Sox. After Baylor's blow in the second inning, the Red Sox scored in the fourth on singles by Carl Yastrzemski and Dwight Evans, a bunt by Bob Montgomery and sacrifice fly by Fred Lynn.
