Jim Lonborg pitched a three-hitter and Greg Luzinski drove in three runs with a single and homer as the Phillies defeated the Expos, 5-0. A walk to Mike Schmidt, a wild pitch and Luzinski's single started the Phillies' scoring in the first inning.

Larry Bowa doubled in the third, stole third and continued home on a wild throw by catcher Barry Foote. Luzinski hit his homer following a single by Schmidt in the fifth. One out later, Jay Johnstone wrapped up the scoring with another round-tripper. [The Sporting News]
