Bobby Murcer's booming bat led the Giants to a 10-3 victory over the Cubs. The ex-Yankee drove in six runs with a homer and triple. His circuit clout came in the fourth with two mates aboard and capped a five-run frame that sent the Giants to a 6-3 lead. The triple came with the bases loaded in the seventh.
