Capping an Indians' comeback, Buddy Bell belted a homer in the 11th to defeat the Royals, 8-7. Fran Healy batted in three runs and Tony Solaita accounted for two RBIs to help the Royals take a 7-3 lead before the Indians began their rally with three runs in the eighth on singles by Rick Manning, George Hendrick, Boog Powell and Frank Robinson and a squeeze bunt by Oscar Gamble.
