Sal Bando rapped his third game-deciding hit in two days, a seventh-inning solo homer which snapped a 2-2 tie, as Oakland rolled past Minnesota, 5-2. Bando also drove in a run with a single in the eighth as the Athletics added two insurance runs for Paul Lindblad, who won in relief.
