After trailing by six runs early in the game, the Red Sox came battling back to gain a 9-8 victory over the Twins. The Red Sox smashed four homers, starting with a solo swat by Dwight Evans in the second inning. The Twins erupted for seven runs in the third on seven hits, a walk, wild pitch and sacrifice fly.
