John Mayberry, Tony Solaita and George Brett drove in two runs apiece to escort the Royals to a 7-0 victory over the Rangers behind the six-hit pitching of Al Fitzmorris. Mayberry, who collected four hits in the game, accounted for his RBIs with a double in the first inning. Solaita added a pair with a single in the third.
