Dave Freisleben blanked the Astros on five hits and drove in the only run he required as the Padres defeated Houston, 2-0. San Diego tallied once in the fifth when Hector Torres doubled, advanced to third on an infield hit by Bob Davis, and crossed the plate as Freisleben hit into a forceout.
