Led by the hitting of Eric Soderholm, Dan Ford and Rod Carew, the Twins posted 7-4 and 12-9 victories to sweep a doubleheader with the White Sox for the second time in two days. Soderholm batted in four runs in the opener, hitting a homer with two men on base in the first inning and getting his other RBI with a grounder in the third. Ford homered in the fifth.
