Using squeeze bunts as a scoring weapon, the Cubs broke a 2-2 tie with two runs in the fourth inning and defeated the Astros, 5-3. Jose Cardenal singled to open the stanza and took third on a single by Pete LaCock, who advanced to second on the throw. Rob Sperring then bunted and Cardenal beat the throw home.
