Errors by Larvell Blanks and Tom House in the ninth inning enabled the Padres to defeat the Braves, 4-3. The Padres got off to a 3-0 lead, but the Braves picked up a run in the seventh and tied the score when Dusty Baker homered with a man on base in the eighth.
