A two-out single by Rob Andrews in the 12th inning scored Roger Metzger and gave the Astros a 4-3 victory over the Giants. Metzger led off with a pinch-single. After a sacrifice by Skip Jutze, Ken Boswell drew a walk. Wilbur Howard then struck out, but Andrews came through with his single to break the tie. [The Sporting News]
