Glenn Borgmann's 12th-inning double scored Steve Braun, who had singled, as the Twins nipped the Angels, 7-6. California took a 6-5 lead in the top of the 10th on Bruce Bochte's fifth hit of the game, a single which scored Mickey Rivers. Minnesota's Johnny Briggs singled home Braun to knot the count in the bottom of the 10th.
