Although Dave Kingman hit two more homers, giving him seven for the season, the Pirates were able to overpower the Mets, 7-5. Kingman drove in four runs. The Pirates had a homer by Willie Stargell in the second inning before exploding for six runs in the fourth on six hits and an error. [The Sporting News]
