Dan Ford hit a sacrifice fly with the bases loaded in the 14th inning to carry the Twins to a 2-1 victory over the Orioles. Luis Gomez singled and Danny Thompson doubled for his fourth hit of the game, Gomez stopping at third. After an intentional pass to Lyman Bostock, Ford came through with his sacrifice fly.
