A loser of his first three starts, Don Sutton got back in the groove and pitched the Dodgers to a 2-1 victory over the Cubs. The Dodgers took advantage of an error by Cubs' starter Bill Bonham to score in the first and added what proved to be their winning run in the fourth when Ron Cey tripled and Joe Ferguson doubled.
