A surprise double steal enabled the Orioles to score three runs in the fifth inning to defeat the Angels, 4-2. Paul Blair opened the frame with a single and Bobby Grich walked. With Andres Mora at the plate, the Angels charged in for a possible bunt and that was when the Orioles worked the double steal.
