A winner of only eight games and loser of six last season, Jim Lonborg brought his record to 3-0 by pitching the Phillies to a 5-0 victory over the Astros. Bobby Tolan broke the scoring ice with a homer in the second inning. The Phils added their other tallies in the eighth.
