A sudden outburst in the sixth inning saw the Padres score four runs to defeat the Expos, 6-4. Willie McCovey hit a two-run homer for the Padres in the first, but the Expos held a 3-2 lead before the Padres began their rally with two out in the sixth. Tito Fuentes doubled and scored on a single by Willie Davis. Willie McCovey followed with a single and Doug Rader then won the game by smashing a three-run homer. [The Sporting News]
