. . . where the 1970s live forever!
Al Oliver, who had been out with a heel injury, made his first start in the Pirates' outfield since April 26 and collected three hits in three official trips, including a homer, to mark a 6-1 victory over the Giants. In the third, after Bruce Kison doubled and scored on a single by Richie Hebner, Oliver homered to make the inning good for three runs. Duffy Dyer added to the Pirates' total with a two-run smash in the fourth. [The Sporting News]
