A triple, walk, passed ball and wild throw gave the Twins two runs in the eighth inning and resulted in a 6-4 victory over the Brewers. With the score tied, 4-4, Butch Wynegar tripled and Dan Ford was handed an intentional pass. With Danny Thompson batting, Wynegar scored the tie-breaking run on a passed ball by Darrell Porter, Ford advancing to second.
