Pinch-hitter Ken McMullen knocked in two runs with a single and Tim Hosley accounted for two more with a homer as the Athletics rallied for four runs in the eighth inning to defeat the Angels, 6-4. A walk to Billy Williams and double by Bert Campaneris preceded McMullen's single. Hosley then hit Paul Hartzell's next pitch for a homer. [The Sporting News]
