Steve Yeager led off the seventh inning with a tie-breaking home run and Burt Hooton pitched a six-hitter as the Dodgers edged the Astros, 2-1. Hooton permitted a leadoff single to Greg Gross, then retired 17 straight batters until two outs in the sixth when the Astros scored on a walk to Gross and singles by Rob Andrews and Jose Cruz.
