With two out in the eighth inning, the Brewers rallied for two runs to defeat the Indians, 5-4. George Scott started the rally with a single, Bill Sharp beat out a bunt and Bob Hansen walked to load the bases. The Indians then brought in Stan Thomas to replace Dennis Eckersley and on the reliever's first pitch, Gorman Thomas singled to drive in the tying and winning runs. [The Sporting News]
