Knocked out by the Astros in the first inning May 30, Roger Moret came back after one day and pitched the Braves to a 9-1 victory over the Padres. Moret gave up a run in the first inning, but Earl Williams put him on the winning track by smashing a homer with two men on base in the Braves' half of the stanza. [The Sporting News]
