Veteran Tommy Davis, signed as a free agent just prior to the game, came up for his first time at bat in an Angels' uniform and drove in two runs with a pinch-single in the eighth inning to help beat the Twins, 5-2. Three walks loaded the bases before Davis delivered his hit to break a 2-2 tie.
