Hitting a triple for his third safety of the game, Manny Sanguillen scored the tie-breaking run in the eighth inning to lead the Pirates to a 4-2 victory over the Expos, who suffered their sixth straight loss. After his three-bagger, Sanguillen crossed the plate on a sacrifice fly by Richie Zisk to snap a 2-2 deadlock. The Pirates added an insurance run in the ninth. [The Sporting News]
