Don Stanhouse collected his first victory as a starter and his first complete game since 1973 by pitching the Expos to a 7-1 victory over the Pirates. Stanhouse, who was with the Rangers in 1973, settled his own decision by driving in two runs with a single in the second inning. The other runs for the Expos, who broke a six-game losing streak, included homers by Barry Foote and Gary Carter. [The Sporting News]
