In the frame that was fatal to the former Twins' star, Ben Oglivie singled, stole second and moved to third when Roy Howell booted a ball by Aurelio Rodriguez. Bruce Kimm then bounced a grounder to Toby Harrah, who tried for a double play, forcing Rodriguez at second, but the throw by Harrah to first was off the mark, allowing Oglivie to score.
