Allowing only five hits, Ken Holtzman pitched the Orioles to a 5-1 victory over the Twins. The Orioles, who had a homer by Lee May in taking a 2-1 lead, clinched the contest with three more runs in the seventh inning on a walk to Mark Belanger, triple by Bobby Grich, another pass to Reggie Jackson, single by May and sacrifice fly by Tony Muser.
