Paced by George Brett, who hit a homer, triple and double, the Royals posted an 8-4 win over the Orioles, who went down to their ninth straight defeat. Brett drove in two runs with his triple in the first inning, added a homer in the third and then doubled and scored on another double by Jim Wohlford in the fifth.
