Superb relief pitching by Steve Foucault, who allowed only two hits in 4 1/3 scoreless innings, enabled the Rangers to defeat the Royals, 7-5. Toby Harrah hit a three-run homer for the Rangers in the first, but the Royals tied the score at 5-5 before Foucault appeared on the scene in the fifth.
