Willie Stargell and Richie Hebner knocked in seven runs between them to make it easy for the Pirates to defeat the Expos, 9-2. Stargell batted in two runs with a double in the first inning and Hebner accounted for one with a single. Hebner then homered with a man on base in the third, while Stargell produced two more runs with singles in the sixth and eighth innings. [The Sporting News]
