Joe Morgan had a double and his 13th homer of season, driving in four runs, in the Reds' uphill 7-3 victory over the Padres. Willie McCovey hit a three-run homer, the 463rd of his career, for the Padres in the first, but the Reds came back in the third with a three-run homer by Morgan, a single by George Foster and double by Tony Perez.
