Frank Tanana, coming back after a two-week layoff because of a sprained muscle in his forearm, pitched the Angels to a 4-1 victory over the White Sox. Dave Collins clinched the decision for Tanana, hitting a homer with a man on base in the ninth inning. [The Sporting News]
