Ken Brett, who was with the Yankees earlier this season before being involved in a May 18 deal, stopped his ex-teammates on six hits and pitched the White Sox to a 4-1 victory. Jack Brohamer homered in the fourth inning, Jorge Orta knocked in two runs with a bases-loaded single in the eighth and Bucky Dent added an insurance run with a single in the ninth to feature the White Sox scoring.
