The Indians and Athletics divided a twi-night doubleheader, the Tribe taking the opener, 3-2, and the A's winning the nightcap, 10-3. Ray Fosse doubled in the seventh inning and scored the winning run of the first game on Frank Duffy's single. Don Baylor had three hits and drove in three runs while Billy Williams pounded a two-run homer to power the A's to their second-game victory. [The Sporting News]
