Fred Norman, who is almost invincible in Reds' home games, brought his Riverfront Stadium record to 30-7 by shutting out the Mets on four hits, 4-0. The lefthander's complete game was the Reds' 22nd of the season, equaling the club's total for the entire 1975 campaign.
