Back-to-back homers by Larvell Blanks and Rico Carty highlighted the Indians' attack in a 9-4 victory over the Tigers. After the Indians took a 3-1 lead, Blanks and Carty rapped their consecutive round-trippers during a four-run outburst in the third inning.
