. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A 15-hit attack that included homers by Dave Cash and Mike Schmidt powered the Phillies to an 11-1 victory and extended their lead over the Pirates to 12 games in the East Division race. The Pirates' only run off Jim Lonborg came on a circuit clout by Dave Parker in the second inning. Cash's homer was his first of the season and came on an inside-the-park drive in the third inning, while Schmidt hit his 25th of the year in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
