After winning the first game, 4-1, the Brewers got a four-hit pitching performance from Jerry Augustine and also won the second game, 5-0, in a sweep of a twi-night doubleheader with the Orioles. Gorman Thomas hit a two-run homer for the Brewers in the opener and Robin Yount drove in their two other runs while hitting safely in his 16th straight game.
