Davey Lopes and Bill Buckner combined to produce the Dodgers' two runs in support of Burt Hooton, who shut out the Astros, 2-0, for his first victory since July 5. Lopes was safe on an error in the fourth inning, stole second and scored on a single by Buckner. In the seventh, Lopes walked, stole second again and counted on another single by Buckner.
