Backed by the batting of Doug DeCinces and Ken Singleton, Wayne Garland won his 13th game of the season, but first since July 20, as the Orioles defeated the Indians, 6-2. DeCinces hit a homer in the third inning and drove in two runs with a triple in the eighth. In between, Singleton accounted for two RBIs with a double in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
